How I can help
I am an independent consultant based in Dallas, Texas. Most of my work centers around supporting and advising small to medium sized organizations on how to apply product management and continuous delivery rigor to their business and technology platforms. I also provide 1:1 product thinking coaching for people leading platform teams (usually Product or Engineering Managers or Tech Leads).
Depending on your needs, I can provide either advisory consulting services or hands-on product management and software delivery expertise.
Advisory and Coaching
If we have not worked together before, this is the best way to engage initially. I do this through a 6 week paired learning program. We meet 1:1 for an hour every week. We use the first session to co-create a plan that fits your need. I will then share my real-world experience relevant to your need over 5 pairing, coaching and discussion sessions.
This service can be relevant for several cases, here’s a few examples;
- Individuals whose teams or organizations are going through some sort of inflection point or experiencing growing pains and are seeking ways to make an impact.
- Individuals who are new to Technical Product Management or Continuous Delivery due to a career change or new team they have joined or are looking to interview for.
- Individuals looking for guidance on shaping their digital platform strategy.

Short term Product Management
I can help provide “relief” for a team by filling an urgent need for product management support for a short duration, usually 3 to 6 months. For various reasons, you may not be able to fill a role with a full-time employee. I can assume the role in the interim and provide help with hiring someone to fill the role for the long term.
Expert Platform Product Management and Software Delivery
I believe that building a product especially with Continuous Delivery is a team sport so I don’t go at any delivery engagements alone. I partner with some of the right engineering leads to co-deliver hands on help with Product Management and Delivery for your platform. You bring me in to co-deliver with you on initiatives that are critical to business success.
These engagements will start off with a lightweight assessment of your current ecosystem, followed by a set of recommendations which we’ll then help execute and deliver against. Examples of work I can help with;
- Cloud adoption: investing in self-service Infrastructure Provisioning, Observability and Data capabilities to help scale your teams’ capacity to deliver software at scale
- Product Thinking for Platforms: demonstrating how to apply product management rigor to defining and delivering your platform business capabilities using Continuous Delivery.
- Monolith decomposition: evolving your monolith application into a more scalable and maintainable set of smaller composable business capabilities.
